Bruce Spurlock


Bruce has an extensive 40 years of experience in branded, private label and co‐packing segments of the food industry, co‐founded CoPack Strategies in 2006, has 14 years experience of progressive consulting in food, food science, government FDA regulations, plant and manufacturing design, site management and executive management consulting.


He was a Brand Manager and Sales Executive with Procter & Gamble for 21 years then most recently was Vice President of Sales & Marketing with Mrs. Clark’s Foods, for 11 years. He has managed retail, foodservice, national account restaurant and C‐store programs. Bruce has the ability to bring the total package together to the ultimate consumer.


At Procter & Gamble, he was involved with Sundor Brands acquisitions; was part of the Sunny Delight transition team and Hawaiian Punch acquisitions team; and managed Speas, Texsun and Hawaiian Punch juices. He was also Brand Manager for Crisco, Jif, Puritan Oil and Pringles.


At Mrs. Clark’s Foods, he led a sales team that developed a major industry presence in private label juices, dressings and sauces; increasing sales from $17 to over $80 in less than 8 years. Bruce led numerous innovations in PET packaging conversions including many private label “firsts”.

Phil is former President and CEO of Mrs. Clark’s Foods, a multi‐plant manufacturer of private label juices, dressings and sauces, co‐founded CoPack Strategies in 2006, has 14 years of experience with progressive consulting in financial, accounting, cost accounting, executive mentorship and on loan CEO.


Phil is a CPA and spent 11 years with KPMG Peat Marwick. He has held C‐level positions with several companies during his 32 year career in industries including food manufacturing, agricultural marketing, biofuels and entrepreneurial venture development.


Phil has extensive experience with advising senior management and business owners, building business plans and managing plan execution, and is particularly focused on helping companies excel with strategic planning and critical decision making.

Amy Larson

Amy Larson


Amy has 26 years of quality assurance, research & development and food sanitation management experience. Amy served as Director of Technical Services at Mrs. Clark’s Foods for fifteen years where she managed the R&D. QC Lab and Sanitation department.


Amy is an expert in salad, mayonnaise, tomato base and juices. She understands the safety requirements of pasteurization and was key in setting up HACCP, SQF and ISO 2200 programs. Her departments also managed organic, kosher and other specialized items.
